The microbeads in Tri-Active Exfoliating Masque are composed of plant cellulose found in the cell walls of plants. They will not cause injuries or micro-abrasions to the skin, as is commonly associated with many exfoliating scrubs containing ground-up seed pits with tiny sharp edges.
