The weight of hyaluronic acid varies in iS Clinical products. Depending on the goals of the formula, iS Clinical uses a combination of various long and short chain hyaluronic acid molecules. The short chain molecules are absorbed through the skin barrier while the longest chain molecules are designed to bind water on the surface of the skin. We source much of this molecule from a Japanese sweet potato which is very high in hyaluronic acid (other plants are also used).
