What is the ingredient in Clarifying Mud Masque that produces hyperemia?

Methyl Nicotinate, a niacin derivative, is used in Clarifying Mud Masque which occasionally can cause flushing for individuals that are easily reactive. However, the hyperemia will fade very quickly throughout the remainder of the facial. With repeated use of the product in regularly scheduled facials, this can subside entirely.
