I have acne and am concerned that the ethylhexyl palmitate in Youth Complex might be comedogenic for my skin.

For acne-prone skin, Active Serum and Cleansing Complex would be the first recommendation, rather than Youth Complex, and we would suggest trying these two products for three months and then assess progress. Active Serum is also strongly anti-aging and its clinical study showed improvements in fine lines and wrinkles, pore size, skin texture, and pigmentary irregularities, as well as other benefits. After the three month evaluation, other products may be added to the regimen, based on progress, skin health, and skin condition – a consultation with a skin professional who is knowledgeable about iS Clinical products could be helpful as well. Ethylhexyl palmitate is not necessarily comedogenic – as this quality depends on many factors – but Youth Complex could be considered as an addition to the regimen later, if indicated.
