Science of Skincare, LLC (“iS^®” or “we” or “us”) created this privacy policy (this “Privacy Policy”) in order to disclose how we use information we collect from users via the iS CLINICAL EDUCATION website located at isclinicaledu.com and any sub-domains and any goods and services offered at any affiliated websites (including, without limitation, the manufacturing, distribution, sale or offered sale of iS^® skin care or treatment products) (collectively referred to hereafter as, the “Website”). Because we gather important information from our users, visitors, and customers (including agencies) (collectively “users” or “you” or “your”), we have established this Privacy Policy as a means to communicate our information gathering and dissemination practices. By accessing, using, registering an account or downloading any materials or content on the Website, you acknowledge and agree to this Privacy Policy.

Please note: When you submit your personal information on or through the Website, you are giving your consent to the collection, use and disclosure of your personal information as set forth in this Privacy Policy. Information We Collect

Personal Information: We may require users who use the Website (whether via submission of queries, registering an account or utilizing any tools offered by the Website (including educational materials and quizzes) to give us personally identifiable information, which may include but is not limited to the user’s name, mailing addresses (home and business), phone number, email address, age/birth date and credit card or other payment account information (collectively “Personal Information”). Besides the Personal Information, we may also collect other information regarding your use of the Website. From time to time, we may also collect or ask for additional Personal Information, which will also be expressly included herein as Personal Information. You can opt out of providing this additional information by not entering it or not using the Website, although not providing Personal Information may hinder your ability to use the Website and any services offered therefrom.

We use the information that we collect to provide and maintain the Website as we deem appropriate in our sole discretion and to provide the services offered through the Website, and to provide any other services that you and iS^® agree to. iS^® may aggregate data that it obtains from users to analyze trends, to gather data to benchmark best practices, and to monitor, improve and refine the functionality of the Website and services offered therefrom.

Contests, Questions or Surveys: When you ask a question, participate in a survey or enter a contest or sweepstakes at the Website, we may collect your name, address, phone number, e-mail address, and and other personal information. We use this information to administer your participation in a contest or sweepstakes. At the time you are entering a contest or sweepstakes, we may ask your permission to send you future marketing information from iS^®.

Non-Personal Information: We collect and use non-personally identifiable information, which is any information other than Personal Information and/or does not identify the specific individual, including, without limitation: IP address, the approximate geographic location of the user based on their IP address the type of browser and operating system used by the user, any interactions a user may initiate within the Website, the websites and web pages that users visit or visited, user interactions with features of the Website, content preferences user selected within the Website and other inferences about the user’s interests made based upon the foregoing. This information is not intentionally gathered in a fashion to personally identify any single user. We use this information to help us develop the Website and the Service, analyze patterns of usage, and to make the Website and the Service more useful. iS^® may collect statistics about the behavior of visitors to the Website, and iS^® utilizes third party services providers to analyze the usage of the Website.

How We Use Information We Collect

We may use the information that you provide to fulfill your request for a product, information, or other service, or respond to an email or other request, as well as to create and deliver to you our newsletters or surveys, communications containing product information, usage tips or promotions, help improve our website(s) or services, or customize visitors’ experience at our website(s). We may also use your personally identifiable information to send you information about products, services and special offers. Additionally, information that you provided may be used to carry out market research about our products and/or services.  However, we want to communicate with you via email correspondence only if you want to hear from us. If for any reason you would no longer like to receive email messages from the Company, you can email us info@innovativeskincare.com to remove yourself. Please allow up to 10 days for us to process your request.

Please note, if you opt not to receive marketing emails from the Company, you may still receive “Transactional” email messages regarding your order (i.e. order confirmation, shipping information, customer service notifications, etc.) If you have questions or concerns regarding this statement, please contact us info@innovativeskincare.com.

Should you provide us with a mobile number, you may receive text messages.  If you elect to receive such text messages, your wireless carrier may impose charges for incoming and outgoing text messages.  You may opt out of text messages by following the instructions in the text message.  You may opt out of push notifications by adjusting the settings on your mobile device.  If you opt out of promotional communications, you will still receive transactional messages from us.

We may contract with companies or individuals to provide certain services including email and hosting services, credit card processing, shipping, distribution, data management, surveys and marketing, promotional services, etc. We call them our Service Providers. We may share personally identifiable information with Service Providers solely as appropriate for them to perform their functions, and they may not use such information for any other purpose.

We do not share your credit card or other account information with unaffiliated third parties unless you authorize us to do so, or if it is necessary to fulfill our responsibilities including, but not limited to, delivering a product or service that you order.

Minors

iS^® does not knowingly allow any visitors or users under the age of eighteen (18) to use or otherwise access to the Website or the Service. iS^® does not wish to collect any Personal Information (or any information at all) from any persons under 18 years old. Third Party Websites

The Website may contain links to other websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of these other websites. You will need to check the privacy policies of these others websites to understand their policies. When you access a linked site you may be disclosing private information. It is your responsibility to keep such information private and confidential.

Cookies & Logs

When you view the Website, we may store some information on your computer’s hard drive. This information will be in the form of a “Cookie.” “Cookies” are information files which your web browser places on your computer when you visit a web site. iS^® uses cookies and session IDs to authenticate a user as he or she navigates various parts of the Website. Cookies and session IDs may also be used to automate data entry functions. For example, cookies may be used to enable users to move through the Website without having to retype the user’s password. iS^® does not obtain personal information via cookies or session IDs, and does not link any data collected through cookies or session IDs to any personal information. Disclosure to Third Party Service Providers Business Partners and Others. We may share your information with third party service providers to perform functions on our behalf. For example, distributors of iS^®’s products and services in your particular locale, outsourced customer care agents or technology assistants may need access to your information to provide goods and services for you.  When we disclose personal information for a business purpose, we enter a contract that describes the purpose and requires the recipient to both keep that personal information confidential and not use it for any purpose except performing the contract. When you share your personal information on our educational sites, we may share this information with our business partners in certain geographical locations for purposes such as to market products, features, or services that may be of interest to you, or for research and analytics.  We will retain your Personal Information for the period necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy unless a longer retention period is required or allowed by law.  For the avoidance of doubt, we do not sell your personal information to any third party.  

Data/Information Transfer As a Result of Sale of Business. In the event that iS^® is involved in a bankruptcy, merger, acquisition, reorganization or sale of assets, iS^® reserves the right to sell or transfer user information (including Personal Information) as part of any such transaction. To the maximum extent allowable by law, the Privacy Policy will apply to the user information as transferred to the successor entity. However, user information submitted after a transfer to a successor entity may be subject to a new privacy policy adopted by the successor entity.

2. Right of access: the right to request a copy of the Personal Information held, as well as confirmation of:

   3. the recipients to whom the personal data has/will be disclosed;
   4. for how long it will be stored; and
   5. if data wasn’t collected directly from you, information about the source.
3. Right of rectification: the right to correct any Personal Information held about you which is inaccurate or incomplete.
4. Right to be forgotten: in certain circumstances, the right to have the Personal Information held about you erased from our records.
5. Right to restriction of processing: the right to restrict the processing carried out in respect of Personal Information relating to you. You might want to do this, for instance, if you think the data held by iS* is inaccurate and you would like to restrict processing the data has been reviewed and updated if necessary.
6. Right of portability: the right to have the Personal Data held by iS* transferred to another organization, to the extent it was provided in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format.
7. Right to object to direct marketing: the right to object where processing is carried out for direct marketing purposes (including profiling in connection with that purpose.

When you place orders on the Website, your order information, including your card number and delivery address, is transmitted through the Internet using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology. The Website is exclusively hosted in the United States. If you are a user accessing the Website from the European Union, Australia, Asia, or any other region with laws or regulations governing personal data collection, use, and disclosure, that differ from United States laws, please note that you are transferring your personal data to the United States which does not have the same data protection laws as such other regions.
